Common questions

Does my page disappear if I don't upgrade?
Never. Your free page is permanent. There's no trial countdown, no expiry date, no sudden redirect. Upgrade only when you want the extras - custom domain, analytics, clean QR.
What if my business doesn't have many Google reviews?
You still get a fully generated page - with your hours, contact info, photos, and location. The AI bio will be lighter, but you'll still have a shareable page from day one. Reviews can be added later.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes on Pro and Agency plans. Point any domain you own to your FavURL page, and we'll handle the rest - SSL, routing, the works. Your page will live at your address, not ours.
What does "white-label" mean for Agency?
Your clients will see your logo and brand name - not FavURL's. You can offer pages as your own product. Subdomains follow your domain. No mention of FavURL anywhere visible to your clients.
How does auto-update work on Pro?
When a new Google Review comes in, our AI re-analyses your insights within 24 hours and updates your page copy if the pattern shifts. Your hours and photos also sync automatically from Google.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes - cancel from your dashboard in one click, any time. You won't be charged again and your page immediately moves to the Free tier, staying live. No locked-in contracts, no cancellation fees.
Is there a limit on QR code scans?
No scan limits on any plan. Scan away. On Pro+ you get analytics that show you when and where people are scanning, so you can see which physical placements actually drive traffic.
Do you store my customers' data?
We pull publicly-available reviews from Google and display them on your page. We don't collect customer emails or contact info. Your page is a showcase page, not a data-capture tool.

What we collect

When you use FavURL, we collect the following information:

  • Business data - your business name, category, city, Google rating, review count, and the text of your publicly-available Google Reviews. This data is fetched from the Google Places API and is already public.
  • Photos - publicly-available photos from Google Places, proxied through our servers to protect your API access.
  • Account data - your email address when you sign in via magic link or Google OAuth.
  • Contact form submissions - your name, email, and message when you contact us.

What we don't collect

  • Your customers' personal data - we only display publicly-visible reviews.
  • Payment card details - all payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant provider. We never see or store your card information.
  • Browser tracking cookies - we use no third-party tracking cookies.

How we use your data

  • To generate and host your landing page at your unique favURL slug.
  • To authenticate you and associate your pages with your account.
  • To respond to support and contact form enquiries.
  • To send you service-related emails such as page-ready confirmations and account notifications.
  • To send you product updates, feature announcements, and occasional promotional emails. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time using the link in the email footer.

We do not sell, share, or rent your data to any third parties.

Email communications

By creating an account or joining the waitlist, you agree to receive emails from FavURL. These may include:

  • Transactional emails - sign-in links, page-ready notifications, billing receipts, and other account activity.
  • Product updates - new features, improvements, and changes to the service.
  • Announcements - company news and other communications we believe are relevant to you.

You can opt out of non-transactional emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at [email protected]. Transactional emails (such as sign-in links and billing receipts) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

Third-party services

We use trusted third-party providers to operate FavURL. These providers may process your data only as necessary to deliver the service:

  • Stripe - payment processing and subscription management. Your payment data is subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Resend - transactional and marketing email delivery.

Data retention

Your landing page data is retained indefinitely so your page stays live. You can delete your page at any time from your dashboard. Account deletion requests can be sent to the address below.
